Stabbed in a traffic jam
On 14 May 1610 Henry IV's coach was stuck in traffic on the Rue de la Ferronnerie in Paris when the Catholic zealot François Ravaillac stabbed him. His famous line, 'Paris is well worth a Mass', is only reported.
