Drowned in a stream after Mohács

Louis II of Hungary and Bohemia was 20 when the Ottomans crushed his army at Mohács in 1526. Fleeing, he fell from his horse into a stream and drowned. Under the 1515 marriage deal, both his kingdoms passed to the Habsburgs.
