The boy king's heart, tested in 2000
Louis XVI's son died in the Temple prison in 1795, aged 10. The doctor at the autopsy smuggled out his heart; after two centuries of pretenders, DNA tests in 2000 showed it was really his, and it was placed in the basilica of Saint-Denis in 2004.
